Aeruacura’s role at SCT is to help us put our goals and challenges into perspective so that we do not needlessly stress ourselves. She represents the ‘blossoming’ aspect of ourselves, whether male or female by reminding us that the journey not just the destination is all part of the adventure.

‘Aeuracura’ (pronounced Air-uh-CURE-uh) is a ‘faery’ queen who multi-tasks as an Earth Mother deity. She is known in Celtic and Germanic traditions as a goddess who bridges between the earthly life and the hereafter.

SCT’s faery logo is intended as a reminder to all who see her and to all of us teachers, students, friends and graduates of SCT that there is magic in everyday life. In fact, we go so far as to say she is a reminder to put the magic back in your life! Magic to all of us at SCT is the sense of wonder a child has in exploring life, the joy of a new puppy or kitten in playing; remembering that the world is a magical place and that it is our birthright to enjoy life whatever our circumstances. The feeling of magic is invoked when we hear a beautiful piece of music or when we stop and look at the sun setting and the marvellous colours Mother Nature makes in the sky.

We proudly wear Aeuracura on our uniforms, display her on our certificates and place her on our websites as reminders of the mission of SCT teachers, students, graduates and friends alike.
