Color Therapy Level One introduces you to the holistic healing and nurturing effects of Color.
What is color? Learn what color is and why it impacts us.
We begin with exercises to encourage Creativity & Expression. And through a fun and light exploration of the psychological and physiological effects of color, we experience the power of Color Therapy as a healing art.
That is, you actually experience how color effects your body, mind, spirit and emotions by doing the exercises, assignments and reading.
The beautifully illustrated (and color-full) manual guides you through exercises and journaling, as you learn the impact of color on all aspects of our being.
Course materials include an analysis of personal color preference through various ways. You follow the exercises. It’s all laid-out step-by-step, so you can follow along and enjoy your course.
For example: A beautiful guided color meditation takes you on a wonderful, relaxing and healing journey. You then create a colorful image and journal about it. The exploration reveals how color impacts your health and wellness. Plus, you have this meditation to use again and again, and to share with your friends and/or holistic health-care clients.
Promote Health & Wellness
This first step of color therapy training then explores how traditionally various cultures use the effects of color. We look at how humans have used color to promote health and wellness since our earliest records.
Your manual also includes lots of useful and well-researched information about the chakra system. Chakras are energy centers in the body, associated with Eastern mysticism. But we also explore how other cultures integrate chakral energy and color into healing.
An introduction to using Crystals
We begin to explore using the healing properties of crystals, including which color crystals to use. Along with the where and why.
Color Therapy Mindfulness
By following the assignments and journaling you learn how to tap the creative hemisphere of your mind while allowing your analytical mind to take a time out. Which means, you learn how to change from left-brain to right-brain thinking! Which, in turns, means meditation and mindfulness comes easier and easier for you.
The emphasis is on personal growth and having fun with color. While learning how to use color to improve personal health and well-being.
Holistic practitioners will find many useful ways to add Color Therapy Training to their professional practice. In addition, this first step may stimulate you to continue studying, leading to full certification in Color Therapy.
Students are required to buy a journal for their studies. Colored crayons, pencils and/or markers are highly recommended to get the most from the course.
