Description
Graduates wish for a sustainable practice working in the field they love. Yet are frightened that they will have to become a ‘business person’ (think ‘Shark Tank’ or ‘Dragon’s Den’…argh!) to achieve that goal. This course takes you through the steps and shows you how to market yourself and your holistic practice while remaining true to your holistic ideals.

This course has been such an eye opener. As someone both beginning their holistic career as well as beginning their own business this course has given me the skills I need to just focus. When first starting anything you brain storm, and turning that “storm” into an actual plan is where I was having so many issues. Being able to sit down and now have a clear cut plan is so gratifying.
Starting a business is a huge undertaking. There are the fun parts: name choosing, material creating, etc, along with the not so fun parts, legal stuff, etc. Moving through the course has enabled me to find out a proper way to create the actual business. This course helped me to prioritize my goals for the business and even what services to offer in addition to what is already in my “comfort zone.” Going outside of my usual comfort zones as well to attend networking events provided me with real feedback and many new relationships.
As stated the most beneficial aspect to me has been the course providing me a way to lay out and actually organize my ideas. I’ve always been an “I want this and I want it now” kind of person and have a hard time putting a plan together, Moving ahead with an actual viable plan is the most exciting thing!

The benefits I have received from this course are vast. It made me think about what it takes to go into business for myself. It still seems like a scary venture, but with much less anxiety.
I feel like I have a clearer path to what I’d like in my life and business.
This course has given me a path to expand upon. Even though I don’t have a business plan, I now have the knowledge needed to write one.
