RRPr (Registered Reflexology Practitioner)
Graduates are instantly recognized for membership to the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario. Their RRPr is a certification mark federally registered and valid throughout Canada. Train in Ottawa, but practice anywhere.
When a Reflexologist displays their RRPr designation you know they have trained to defined standards for the profession. Because you know that these standards have been established by a governing board. And most importantly are recognized by the federal government of Canada.
SchoolofCT is a founding member of the RRCO registering body. And we continue to play an active role in promoting Reflexology in Canada.
Learn the Fairbrass Method
SchoolofCT teaches our own unique methodology. Effective, and specific. The Fairbrass Method.
A specific bodywork technique, where the therapist strokes, massages and applies pressure to the feet, hands and/of face. Thereby effecting changes in the body. Relaxing muscles, and stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal itself.’
A Reflexology session causes an increase in blood flow to organs. Thereby helping the body to eliminate toxin build-ups. So, the lymphatic and endocrine systems are stimulated. And finally we induce a state of relaxation.
Both sympathetic + para-sympathetic nervous systems come to balance. As natural feel-good hormones called endorphins are released. Science shows us that an increase in production of endorphins reduces the body’s stress response. We thereby create feelings of well-being.
Reflexology Ottawa Classroom
During a reflexology session internal energy lines that flow through the body are cleared. Whether giving or receiving! So the body returns to energetic balance. This in turn, allows optimal nervous system functioning.
So, sounds good? And it feels even better!
Additionally, a good Reflexology session leaves you feeling rested + refreshed. Ready to tackle the world again. Regular Reflexology as part of a wellness program is shown to help ease many symptoms of bodily dis-ease. Even emotional distress and spiritual anguish are relieved.
So, whether you give a treatment or get a treatment you feel fabulous.
Importantly, when we learn, train and become a professional Reflexologist we give ourselves the gift of health. We help both ourselves and others. From that we gain a great sense of pleasure, validation and meaning in life. When we see the positive results of helping others.
Because many professional Reflexologists are now working from their home. Additionally, they are travelling to clients. We see Reflexologists opening their own clinics. There’s even chains in mall outlets. As well as practicing in spas, holistic clinics. and especially chiropractic offices.
They work in nursing homes and hospices with palliative care. However, the opportunities are endless. So, there has never been a better time to start your professional practice in Reflexology. Go ahead: Join us and enroll now!
