So you want to be a reflexologist?
Foot reflexology is a great way to move into a career in holistic medicine.
Still on the fence?
- Reflexology is simple, easy to learn, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
- It’s also extremely portable (you only need your hands), and there’s a growing market for it as a wellness modality.
The best part though, in our humble opinion, is that you can now choose to study REMOTELY, no matter where you are in the world, thanks to our comprehensive, easy-to-follow distance-learning program.
Our distance-learning course isn’t about teaching you a routine and then sending you packing.
It’s about equipping you with techniques that prioritize your clients comfort and care, while giving you the space to inject your personality.
Whether it’s using hot-pink towels or playing Chinese bamboo-flute music, you’ll be encouraged to set the ambiance of the space you’re working in, and in a way that feels good to you.
We’ll show you the methodology to become a great technician. We just ask that you try to have fun along the way.
How does it work?
Remember those tin-can phones you used when you were a kids?
The easiest way to explain how foot reflexology works is to imagine you have energy lines running throughout your body.
On your feet, you have reflex areas that are connected to these energy lines which, when manipulated, send messages to every organ, every gland, and every part of your body.
When you receive a foot-reflexology treatment, you’re tuning up your body energetically and bringing it back into balance with itself.
For many people, a foot reflexology session feels as soothing as a good night’s sleep.
Reflexology is guaranteed to help your clients relax, while simultaneously reducing the risk of stress-related illnesses.
Studies have also shown that, when your body relaxes, your circulation improves and your blood pressure drops.
Another side effect that this kind of deeep relaxation has on the body is that your sympathetic nervous system kicks in to rest-and-repair mode, helping your body to rebalance itself.
Like anything, when it comes to foot reflexology, there are different schools of thought.
ONE is that reflexology needs to be painful in order for it to work properly . . . but it’s safe to say that’s NOT the school of thought the SchoolofCT subscribes to.
Instead, we believe that people should feel good when they get off your table—not like they’ve gone 12 rounds with George Foreman.
We ground ourselves in the moment before we start treatment, and we encourage each reflexology experience to be gentle, calm and meditative.
We use methodologies that have been around for eons, including Chinese meridian-based therapy, energy healing and chakra balancing.
Our FABULOUS distance – learning program brings the classroom to you.
The only commute you’ll have to worry about is from your computer to your living room couch—which is easy as pie, even during the WORST rush hour imaginable.
Study in the comfort of your home, at the office, or in a coffee shop.
Traffic jams optional.
YOU get to pick the best times for you to study.
Take your time working through our distance-training program, if you need to.
You’ll have a whole year to complete everything, from start to finish—which means you can fit your studies in with your busy schedule, not the other way ‘round.
Distance learning puts you in the front row of the classroom.
You’ll receive personalized attention from a personal instructor, who also happens to be a world-class reflexologist.
Jacqueline Fairbrass, SchoolofCT founder and the woman behind the Fairbrass Method of Reflexology, will answer any questions you might have.

Jacqueline is great. She has a wonderful way of teaching that leaves lasting impressions with you. She explains things in a way that makes you truly understand. I absorbed more information during her program than I learned in one year of College. I truly did.
June Brown, Foot Care Specialist and single mother of two girls added Reflexology to her mobile practice.
And there’s more…
In the short period of time I have practiced foot reflexology, one word comes to mind: AMAZING! At the very least, all {practicum} clients reported a better sense of well-being and a better ability to handle every day stressors after 3 to 4 visits. The list of benefits is endless…and the adventure continues!
